• With 4 wickets left in the innings, Bangladesh looked to save face and avoid an innings defeat.
• On the other hand, West Indies were aiming to clean up the tail and register a dominant victory over the visitors.
• Play resumed on Day 3 as Mahmudullah and Nurul Hasan walked out on the crease and Jason Holder took the 1st over.

• Holder struck early as Mahmudullah departed after facing only one ball from the West Indies captain.
• With this wicket, tail enders were now present on both end and West Indies needed only 3 wickets to win.
• Surprisingly, a staunch partnership of 25 runs was seen between Nurul Hasan and Kamrul Hasan but soon Gabriel removed Kamrul Hasan to complete his 5 wicket haul of the innings.

• Rubel Hossain joined Nurul Hasan who was looking in prime form. The batsman was getting boundaries on a regular basis and in no time and soon reached his half century in 36 balls.

• Frustrated by Nurul Hasan West changed tactics to introduce spin into the attack. But, the two batsman held on and took this partnership above 50 runs.
• Cummins was introduced into the attack and this move worked as he struck in the very next over and Nurul Hasan’s superb display of batting ended.
• In his very next over, the bowler also took the wicket of Rubel Hossain as West Indies won the match by an innings and 219 runs.
