- But in the end, Kevin Anderson somehow managed to score the last two points in quick succession and eventually claimed his victory in the first set.
- However, the next set was also worth-seeing as after a sensational battle between the two players, the set was again decided on the tie-breaker.
What a crushing loss for John Isner.
The 33-year-old American was looking to reach his first Grand Slam final, spends 6 hours and 35 minutes on court, served 53 aces, hits 129 winners, gave every last bit of effort his body had to offer.

- But in the end, John Isner again faced defeat on the tie-break this time as Kevin Anderson constantly scored points which helped him to winning the set easily.
- A resilient fight was again witnessed by both the players in the third set of the match as the set finally came to a tie-breaker after the scores were levelled at both sides 6-6.

- John Isner again snatched the victory from the South African star player, Kevin Anderson and the match came to the fourth set.
- Kevin Anderson again faced a tough fight but he scored the last two points in quick succession and stayed alive in the game.

- Now the match came to the decisive set. And both the players were consecutively scoring points one after the other.
- After a long tough battle between them, Kevin Anderson made a breakthrough and by consecutively winning the two games, he finally won the decisive set by 26-24.

- The match lasted about six hours and 35 minutes and John Isner and Kevin Anderson both scored 53 and 49 points on an ace respectively.
- Kevin Anderson successfully managed to make it to the finals where he will now play against either Rafael Nadal or Novak Djokovic for the Championship title of Wimbledon 2018.

Result: Novak Djokovic defeated Rafael Nadal by 6-4, 3-6, 7-6(9), 0-0….
Highlights:
- An outstanding performance was seen between Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal in all the three sets.
- The Serbian star player, Novak Djokovic faced a tough fight but he dominated Rafael Nadal in the opening set of the match as Nadal failed to score the last two points first in quick succession.

- However, in the next set, the World No.1 Spaniard player, Rafael Nadal was playing confidently at the start as he was scoring points at a very fast pace.
- However, Novak Djokovic was also looking confident while scoring points.

- But in the end, Novak Djokovic lost the set as Rafael Nadal did not let him score more than a total of three points throughout the set.
- The match came to the third set and Novak Djokovic opened the scoring of this set with a powerful backhand shot.
