However, despite taking the lead in the next set, Viktoria Kuzmova and Anna Kalinskaya both got into pressure and again failed to win this set from Alexa Guarachi and Erin Routliffe.
Alexa Guarachi’s & Erin Routliffe’s doubles opponents today, Viktoria Kuzmova and Anna Kalinskaya, actually have a lower average doubles ranking. They’ve got much higher singles rankings, though – Kuzmova is #68; Kalinskaya #146. Match will start in roughly 2 hours.

For Alexa Guarachi, this will be her first Grand Slam main draw appearance. It’s the second for Erin Routliffe, who with Maya Jansen won a qualifier for the 2015 US Open.
