After losing the US Open 2018 final, Timea Babos retained her rank while Vandeweghe jumped 32 ranks up to the 20th position. Meanwhile, Ashleigh Bary and Vandeweghe won the US Open 2018 against Timea Babos & Mladenovic and are now placed at the 7th and 5th position respectively.
