Latisha Chan upgraded her rank as she placed herself at the top spot by replacing Timea Babos. Meanwhile, Ashleigh Barty and Demi Schurrs won the Women’s Doubles trophy in the Rogers Cup and are now placed at the 11th and 13th position respectively.
Other significant upgrades in Women’s doubles tennis rankings, were of Andrea Sestini, Kristina Mladenovic and Zhaoxuan Yang who are now placed at 5th, 8th and 20th position respectively.
