Women’s Singles
Simona Halep lost the final of Cincinnati Masters to Kiki Bertens, but retained her top position at the top of the Women’s Singles Tennis rankings. Meanwhile, with this title win, the Dutch tennis star, Kiki Bertens upgraded her rank to the 13th position.

USA’s Serena Williams also upgraded her rank and is now placed at the 26th position. Other significant upgrades were of Petra Kvitova, Julia Goerges and Jelena Ostapenko who are now placed at 5th, 9th and 10th place respectively.
