Simona Halep retained her top rank in the Women’s singles tennis rankings with Caroline Wozniacki and Angelique Kerber placed at the 2nd and 3rd position respectively. Wozniacki won the China Open Women’s singles and retained her 2nd position in this category.

Some of the other significant upgrades were of Naomi Osaka, Karolina Pliskova and Slaone Stephens who are now placed at 4th, 6th and 8th place respectively.
